Guest chapter 14 . 10/6/2019
Thank you for this lovely story...I admit I am a bit disappointed that it's not complete -it's so beautifully written and so intriguing, you see. I hope u finish it one day but I am glad to have gotten the chance to read this. Thanks!

This is a really amazing story and I really can’t put into words as to how spectacularly you’ve written this. Most importantly you’ve gotten all the technical aspects of research right and gosh it’s a treat! Everyone is in character And most importantly, you’ve nailed the way you write Naru completely. I’ve read every single one of your stories and again, I can’t put into words how much I love the way you write. I hope to write like you do!

We-only-speak-in-yo-yos chapter 1 . 4/15/2018
I was reading some of the comments and they are just down right rude. Despite the story not being finished I still loved it and have no regrets about reading it. So far it's been gripping and very different from a lot of the other fanfictions I've read. Thank you for the effort you put into it. I love your writing style and the emotions you put into all of your fanfictions, not just this one.

I sincerely hope that you haven't abandoned this story. It's well-written, engaging and I want to know where it's going.
SadderPanda chapter 14 . 1/27/2017
It is always a dissapointment when you read seventy eight thousand words and there is no ending. That's the problem with fan fics, they are unprofessional. Had I known it wasn't complete I wouldn't have read it. If you aren't going to finish it, then you should delete it. Without an ending, tne story is worthless.
Deeceekitty chapter 14 . 11/11/2016
I just discovered this story. I enjoy it very much. The plot keeps me interested. Naru and Mia and all the characters are believablely in character. I hope you come back and finish it soon. I look forward to further chapters even if it takes awhile.

Puff the Evil Dragon chapter 14 . 7/7/2016
Gah! I just stumbled across this, and was up all night reading, only to hit that unfortunate end. I know it's been over a year, but I really hope you finish this, because I'm dying to know what happens!

lilsketcher617 chapter 14 . 1/26/2016
You know, I’ve lost count of the amount of times I’ve reread this story. While it’s been awhile since the last update, it never loses its edge or ability to pull at the heartstrings. This chapter is especially poignant.

“I’ve yet to encounter a case I can’t solve.” Poor Naru. From the looks of things, he may have just met his match. If that’s true, his ego is about to take a painful blow and unfortunately for him, this reminder that he is indeed human and therefore capable of error comes on a case that’s deeply personal. Unless he’s able to come up with another solution fast, one of the two most important people to him won’t remember who he is before long. Talk about pressure. It reminds me in a way of Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, though the circumstances (and method of memory removal) are definitely different.

How do you decide who should forget? What happens if something goes wrong (though I don’t doubt Lin’s skills) and he’s erased from both of their memories? There’s also the chance that Mai doesn’t relay Gene’s message or takes the curse at the last minute instead because she sees it as a way to spare them the pain of losing each other again. Memories are all Gene has left at this point and she’s very aware of just how important they are to each other, especially to Naru. So unless another option presents itself fast, things are looking pretty bleak for Naru, Gene, and Mai.

I’m intrigued to see how this all plays out. Not to mention with the tangled web of conspiracies and secrets our SPR team has found themselves in. Here’s hoping you’re able to escape those sentient squirrels (campus ones in particular are a nasty breed) soon and relocate your Muse once more. Until then, I’ll be patiently waiting for the next update!
Anon chapter 14 . 11/2/2015
Woah, I am so happy to have come across this fic! Everyone is so in character I feel like I'm reading one of the novels. Mai and Naru's relationship has such a natural progression and the plot is super interesting. I have some suspicions as to what MT-02 is so I'm keen to find out.
Looking forward to the next chapter :)
miss koneko chapter 14 . 10/5/2015
I keep imaging Mai trying to pass on Gene's message, and I reckon even if she does tell Lin, she'll insist on it being her that forgets...
I love your story and I while I really want to read more of it, it's okay to struggle with motivation. I went off Ghost Hunt for a while and sometimes had a year between updates, but I finished it eventually :)
Anyway, I hope you feel better. Thank you for the read!
Rose Unspindle chapter 11 . 10/3/2015
I've only seen the anime, but I have this image in my head of Naru dilly-dallying and not telling Mai his feelings and ignoring hers, and then Lin asking her on a date on her eighteenth birthday.
