What an interesting premise. Well done, too. My. I am not surprised Mycroft was fascinated, or by Moriarty's plotting or unexpected death. Really, mixing the two of them was bound to result in at least one of them becoming even more impressively lethal. I suppose it's the uncertain question of no one knowing for sure what the machine actually managed to do until after it was done that left Moriarty miscalculating.

I love this story,

Awesome concept and brilliantly pulled off. I liked the resolution of the Moriarty scene - it makes sense that a John!Sherlock would go straight to the punch without playing around. Awesome story overall!
