It's really nice to see another Max/Casey fan! To be honest, I liked her character a heck of a lot more when she showed the good taste and sense to like Max! He seemed to help her character growth - whereas Cappie did the opposite and was stunted and immature...Max just had more depth and *soul*, and capacity for selfless love, y'know? I thought Max/Casey had the most truly romantic scenes on the show. Sigh. It would've been nice and very fitting if both Max and Casey helped each other get over their first loves, and ended up together. Because I agree with your fic, about love growing out of friendship, loss, etc, and often that slow burn kind is actually better than the instant head-over-heels thing. But nooo, Casey just had to go back to Crappy Cappie! Ugh. I actually began to *hate* Cappie because of his attitude whenever he interacted with Max, who was so sweet and endearing, and really deserved to have a happy ending, especially with his tragic past... I can't believe the Greek writers just kind of threw his character away and the last we heard of Max was an off-screen mention by Rusty, who seemed dismissive of him! Sorry to rant, but what can I say? Max is probably my favorite character on that show (and I really liked the actor who played him) so I got annoyed with anyone who didn't seem to appreciate him enough! Including the showrunners. :P Anyway thanks for writing this satisfying future fic for this sadly ignored couple!

Wow, this was really great. Casey and Cappie will always be my favourite but I do have a soft spot for Max/Casey. And as much as I love Cappie I could picture him doing this in the show. Anyways, this is awesome and I hope you do a follow up.
