Reviews for The Human Language
Orion Hunts chapter 1 . 7/19/2016
:( damn, great story tho! :)
33 Vi chapter 1 . 4/20/2015
I. Loved. It. So amazing, I cannot stop thinking about it. Makes sense, if Gallifreyan is such a good, precise language, learning English would be so boring. But my question is: does the doctor speak French? He has to to do Psedo-french Allons-y.
margie-me chapter 1 . 4/20/2015
I saw a few errors here, such as 'his an alien' instead of 'he's an alien', 'his sick or something' instaed of 'he's sick or something' and ' "well your here now." ' which should read as 'Well, you're here now.' See? Just easy fixes. But, as for reviewing this little story for subject and content, it's worth looking further into Galiffreyan life even more. Imagine, besides physical punishment, if a child could also be corrected by means of adults using telepathy; having to endure both together would be rough on a person. Mental pain can leave lasting scars, too. Perhaps a nucleous formed, even then, for him running away as a renigade later. Neat little way to explain why the Doctor doesn't always get the nuances of human speach. Myself, I've pretty much always thought the Doctor sometimes dumbed down as a distraction, just to appear disarming and non-threatening.
