Awesome! Please update!
reality deviant chapter 7 . 2/10/2018
this was a good fic, and a nice way to fuse interesting and different fandoms.
Spica75 chapter 7 . 11/9/2017
Well, this was a good find i made on pure chance.

I think this might possibly be the best use of NCIS i have seen as a fanfic.
I actually don't really have much interest in either original series, but both have spawned some good fanfics, and i now consider this to be part of those.

So i really hope you continue this. Because this crossover has surprisingly much potential.
Gamerman22 chapter 4 . 10/9/2017
It’s for chapter 6: the Kaiser Shipyards built Escort Carriers or Jeep Carriers of Casablanca-class. Here’s a history I managed to dig up:

Eleven United States aircraft carriers of all types lost during World War II, six were escort carriers, five of which were of the Kaiser-built Casablanca class:

CVE-56 Liscome Bay
Sunk 24 November 1943. Submarine torpedo launched from IJN I-175 SW off Butaritari (Makin).

CVE-73 Gambier Bay
Sunk 25 October 1944. Concentrated surface gunfire from IJN Center Force during Battle off Samar.

CVE-63 St. Lo (ex-Midway ex-Chapin Bay)
Sunk 25 October 1944. Kamikaze aerial attack during Battle of Leyte Gulf.

CVE-79 Ommaney Bay
Sunk 4 January 1945. Kamikaze aerial attack in the Sulu Sea en route to Lingayen Gulf.

CVE-95 Bismarck Sea
Sunk 21 February 1945. Kamikaze aerial attack off Iwo Jima.

CVE 96 Anguilla Bay renamed USS Salamaua
Damaged at Lingayen Gulf on 6 January 1945 after kamikaze with two 551-pound (250 kg) bombs hit her flight deck. She was repaired and put back in service.
JAYSEN chapter 6 . 8/31/2017
I had an idea for a scene you can use...It involves Pennsylvania requesting to look up any remaining crewmen whom served aboard her decks and finding the final living sailor, living in VA hospice in near Norfolk:

Sylvia had requested that Abby look up anyone of her former sailors whom might still be alive, although she very much doubted it. She had been gone for nearly 70 years, after all.

"Got one! Boiler Technician 2nd Class Clark Nichols...He was posted to you in 1943 right up until Operation Crossroads...92 years old...Oh...He's living in Hospice care at Norfolk Veterans Hospital. No living relatives." Abby chirped, happy she was able to find anything at all.

She tore the VA database apart looking for any hits, usually coming up empty since most of the crew was already dead by now.

Upon hearing this news, the shipwoman immeadiately made a request of Gibbs and Vance.

"...I don't know. We still need to keep a tight lid on this." Vance stated stubbornly.
He had these shipgirls popping up like daisies all over the place and he didn't know how much longer they could keep this hidden, especially after Enterprise's little air show a week ago.

"Please...I need to hear what my crew thought of me...If they even remember me..." The shipwoman replied sadly. It tugged at sentiments Vance never really thought he had.

"Oh hell...Gibbs! Duck! McGee! You're going with her to Norfolk!" Vance ordered to the shock of his agents, whom wondered what sort of spell Sylvia wove over their cast iron boss as the man briefed them on what they were doing.

Within the hour, they were already on their way to VA Hospital Norfolk.

After finally arriving and checking in at the front desk, she ventured into the room alone to see the once young sailor whom manned her boilers had grown so old since she had been gone.

She was considering keeping her voice down when his eyes fluttered open and he looked right at her with a sad smile, tears of joy coming from his eyes.

"Ah...I know you...The second I saw you...I knew who you are...You've finally come back to us...Penny." The old man wheezed contently, somehow knowing exactly whom she was.

"You...already know who I am?" She inquired.

"I worked your boilers for 5 years...I'd know you anywhere...I never quite forgave the Navy for what they did to you. You deserved...a better fate than that..." He replied as the two got to talking, reminiscing about the old days when she was still one of the queens of the sea.

During the course of the visit, she noticed his consciousness slipping.

"Are...Are you okay?" She asked, hoping nothing was wrong.

"...I guess...It's time..." He wheezed as he looked into her eyes one final time.

"I can finally...leave this world now...That I finally got to see you...one...final...time..." The old veteran trailed off as the hand Slyvia held went slack, his machines giving off a high pitched tone signalling that he was gone.

"Thank you...For letting me know I wasn't forgotten...Thank you..." She whispered as tears rolled down her cheeks as she gave his hand one final, gentle squeeze.

She placed his hands across his chest as the nurses came in to call time of death. As she turned to leave, one of the nurses stopped her.

"He was a lonely man...No family, no one visited him and all of his friends have gone ahead of him. You probably gave him some comfort in his final moments...Thank you." She thanked the mystery woman as she went about her duties.

"...C'mon...We'll take you back." Gibbs stated as they filed out of the building but before she could leave the hospital, she felt as if something had entered her, her boilers giving off a soft and pleasant warmth.

"Leave yer boilers ta me!" She could hear the much younger voice of the man she had visited echo within her, giving her a renewed sense of confidence.

There...How was that? Let me know.
JAYSEN chapter 7 . 7/13/2017
This...This was AMAZING. I sincerely hope to see more of this story. It pulled me in during the first chapter, wondering what would happen to Pennsylvania and if more of her sisters would return alongside her. Now, I'm wondering if the other shipyards will experience the same phenomenon, of our girls returning to us after all these years. Maybe, a few old veterans whom fought aboard these vessels could meet them. I wonder how they would react...Maybe as if greeting an old friend after so many years apart?
RizomataNyan chapter 7 . 7/9/2017
fantastic chapter and i hope you update it soon also i reallt wanna see their reaction on some of the more famous ship like the Enterprise ,north carolina, iowa and william D porter :3
Whale chapter 7 . 6/21/2017
Well, this looks pretty isnteresting and is competently written on top of that.

Was gonna mention the computer issue, but apparently it was already. You gonna have Midways or Iowas or other ships that served way beyond WWII and would be more on the ball about the future show up at some point?
F-14 Tomcat Lover chapter 7 . 5/30/2017
Oh boy... A lot of US Navy Subs during WW2 were built at inland locations. I think a number of other ships were too. The Subs of WW2 had shallow enough drafts that they could sail down most of the US inland rivers and other major waterways. They would then exit through the Mississippi and enter the Gulf of Mexico and go from there to their assigned ports.

The same for PT-Boats.

And other small craft.

NCIS is going to be busy.
Gamerman22 chapter 7 . 5/29/2017
Next one is a Carrier? Please add Yorktown Class USS Enterprise CVN-06, her Planes is F6F Hellcat, SB2C Helldiver, and TBD Devastator, pretty please.
D.J. Scales chapter 6 . 5/21/2017
Okay that was a nice twist but why pick ships from the Second World War?
D.J. Scales chapter 7 . 5/21/2017
I really really like the idea of what I'm seeing. Even so I hope you have a few submarines coming in and if this is just the second world war what about the Cold War era Fleet?
