I loved this ending with Milt explaining to Russ how he feels and Russ accepting and reciprocating. And then Milt lays his head on Russ’ shoulder just like Russ did in that episode where he was kidnapped, just lovely.

This is SO GOOD! I've been bingeing Battle Creek on Netflix, and I was so excited to see there was this great, multi-chapter H/C bro-fest all ready and waiting! I couldn't put it down! This is killing me and I love it. I'll be eagerly awaiting the next installment!

(Hawaii 5 0 fic i read a while back gave me the idea) oooor my own little daydream is a young girl walks into the station claiming russ is her dad and his ex who recently drank herself to death (que poor kid being in care and paternal russ saving her from a shite life) i can see him as being a grumpy ass with one hell of a protective streak.
