Oh goodness the feels of that chapter! What an excellent and truly enticing story! I loved Serge's comment, Athos giving his ring, d'Artagnan's nervousness, and Aramis being sad. It was all so perfect! There was such a mixture of bittersweet emotion. Lovely!

I so loved how you wrapped this up, especially near the end where d'Artagnan and Athos talked and Athos gave the boy his ring. And Aramis being saddened he'd miss the wedding. Lovely job!

Enjoyed that a lot. Every moment felt right to the story and the characters.

Ahhh, that was adorable. I was slightly disappointed that we didn't get to see d'Artagnan propose in the finale, but this makes up for it. The part with d'Art and Athos is really cute, and kind of moving when you think about what they do. This was/is a great fanfiction, and I have enjoyed reading it :)

This chapter is wonderful and a fitting conclusion to your highly pleasant story. Seeing the inseparables back at the garrison, greeted with well-deserved applause and respect (and their favorite meals) is a great idea of yours. As is the scene with dArtagnan eating in a hurry, because he wants to bathe first.
Also you did a wonderful job in letting us have one more look at every Musketeers feelings. Each of them musing about his very own part in this. We all know what Aramis is going to do and I liked how you made sense Porthos there is something special going on in Aramis. They absolutely do have a special bond.
Just like Athos and dArtagnan. Their scene talking about proposals and marriage is very moving and I loved to see dArtagnans insecurities about him wanting to marry Constance (should he wait for proper circumstances, should he kneel, what to say). I am no man, but I have been told, every man
feels this way when he plans to propose.
But Athos gave him a good advice and also gave him his mothers ring! This is an such a cute idea of yours and I am really in love with this bit. We all have seen Constances ring in the honeymoon scene and when I saw it, I thought to myself, there must a special story behind this ring. Because how did dArtagnan, having only little money, get a ring this fast?
You filled in this blank in the most beautiful way, because you stress once more the special relation between Athos and dArtagnan plus you gave Constances wedding ring a very special meaning ( and
after all she shared a special bon with Athos too). So thank you very much for this beautiful take on the ring!
The proposal scene itself has been very delightful to read. I am kind of old-fashioned, therefore I am
glad you have chosen d Artagnan to be the one to propose, although I appreciate your idea of
Constance instantly knowing what was to come. She really is able to read dÀrtagnan, is she not?
The Queen gifting her with the dress, another cute idea and I admit I thought the same ever since having watched 2x10.

Porthos:"Marriage it is? Do you not have to be grown to marry?"
