Great story. I hoe you write a sequel one day now that we know that Lucifer really is the favourite and how a reunion between him and God would go down.

I know the boys are dealing with a serious apocalypse problem, but these little nuggets of sass and sarcasm you sprinkle in just have me cackling like a madwoman.

It's amazing that even with all of their bullshit the Winchesters are still better at this shit than these idiots. I kind of want Chuck to mail them a rough draft bundle of these meetings, just so we can see our boys facepalm, snark, and be exasperated. And maybe, just maybe, out analyze and out plan the "divine" pair. Because our boys might be terrible at times, but they can see the parallels and figure shit out a hell of a lot better, when it smacks them in the face.

Now that I think about it, it's an interesting irony that Sarah1281 wrote an ending where Lucifer evades so much responsibility. It seems pretty clear from her other works that Sarah1281 is the biggest believer in personal responsibility that I know of.

Minor note in reterospect- An understated but nonetheless impressive achievement of this fanfic is how it manages to make Raphael, barely a prompt even under Ben Edlund's skilled writing, feel like a character. I'd be curious to know how Sarah1281 managed to get Raphael's characterisation together.

I believe Gabriel may have brushed the Fourth Wall with that last line!
This was an amazing fic, and I'm thrilled to have been here since (I think) the beginning. You've gotten the characterization down fantastically; you didn't make Lucifer the victim nor Michael the good guy.
The ending was great as well, I wish something of that sort could have happened in the show. Though I suppose having four archangels around might have made fighting things a little too easy.
Either way, thanks for writing and finishing this, you have an awesome talent for writing -
