Reviews for Hermione's Brilliant Idea
Betabryant chapter 3 . 7/23
they probably did notice and may have even told Dumbledore but as we know house elf's can't act without an order

Tecnoforce chapter 14 . 7/21
This is the cutest story I have read in a long time. Total 10 out of 10 in my books
aamlkb chapter 3 . 7/21
So things move fast in the story. First they figure out the Horcruxes and the Grangers seem to take everything in stride. I see you named them Dan and Emma. That seems to be the popular choice.
aamlkb chapter 2 . 7/21
How is it that the house elves are so well informed? It it because no one notices them so they gather lots of intel? Still they seem way more informed and connected with what what and who’s who.
aamlkb chapter 1 . 7/21
I do agree with how they look at the house elves. I feel like they need to work and need a family but they should be able to leave if miss treated.
MZephyr chapter 5 . 7/21
I know that years have passed since this was published, but this economic attack plan makes utterly no sense at all. 1) Certainly Harry and Sirius can demand the dividends be paid to them which are owed. Upon receiving these demands, the companies will almost certainly say no, or at the least state reasons why such payment will be delayed or made in installments. Harry and Sirius could then sue the companies for not paying them what they are owed. A suit which will be heard by a court in Magical Britain. Guess what sort of verdict they'll get. 2) Stock (generally speaking and ignoring special distinctions) is essentially a deed of partial ownership in a company. People can sell stock they own to other people (or companies). The company associated with the stock is under no obligation to buy the stock from a shareholder - i.e., Harry and Sirius cannot demand that the company buy the stock, let alone buy it at the "current value" (that is, the last price someone paid someone else for the stock). All Harry and Sirius could do is say, "I'd like to sell my stock to someone at price X." Then someone could say "okay", or could say, "No, but I'm willing to buy it at price Y." And then Harry and Sirius can say, "okay", or "no", or negotiate further. And the more they sell, the less people are going to offer to pay. If they try to dump ALL of their stock, the guaranteed result is that the price they'll get for it will plummet like a rock to nearly zero. Which means that the people who purchase it will gain stock in a lot of companies at a price that's a steal. And rather than bankrupting Britain, it is Harry and Sirius who will lose a ton of money (on paper, at least, with actual gain or loss depending on how the stock price has fluctuated since it was originally purchased). So this is a plan to do incredible financial damage to themselves, not to Magical Britain.
