This was a nice story, thank you!

You set the scene really well, and your description was detailed. It was exactly what was needed to start this story, and it really placed the reader into the story and made them comfortable. This fell a little bit when the speech started, and it would have been nice to see some more emotion there, but it still flowed nicely and was good to read.

It would have definitely been nicer to see more emotion. The subjects in this story are quite hard, and this could have been explored a little more. At times it felt as if Luffy’s grief wasn’t as painful as it seemed it would be, and this can easily be fixed with some more emotion put in to balance things out.

There was some confusion about the dream and Law’s presence in that respect, though it was a nice scene in the story. A little more clarity would have been nicer there, but your description was lovely and it flowed well. There were also a few POV changes in the middle of the scene, though this is a minor issue, and one of the biggest contributors to the small amount of confusion.

Overall, this was a nice story to read and developed Luffy at one of his lowest points.
