| Murshaad chapter 8 . 7/25/2016 Haaaa, haaaaa! I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this twist! You go "off the rails" all you like, other people will strongly disagree, (and I don't care if they do) but the mermaids of Mako Island are EVIL! On the show they admit to committing genocide (they killed all the mermen, and drove the survivors to shore), infanticide (baby mermen are either killed or tossed up on a beach somewhere to die or be found by humans), and alluded to murder (aka, Mimmi in Season 2 very nonchalantly said “we could drown him, dead men tell no tales…” about Erik when he saw Ondina as mermaid), and they show zero remorse for these vile acts. So you keep this up, it’s awesome and I love it. |
