It's so cute seeing a mature Ron and Hermione on a date, even if it's a little spur of the moment. I can't blame Rose for ditching them. I wouldn't want to be the one to break the big news to Ron either, but I'm so glad you didn't have him cause a scene in the middle of Hogsmeade. He's grown up enough to think before he reacts. Very nice!

I can connect with both of them, and I'm not even a parent. I understand Ron's hatred towards the dentist *winces* (painful memories) and Hermione's willingness to let Rose grow up. They sound just like every parent ever, yet you've written them so that it's not cliché at all. Great job!

*fist pumps* HAHAHAHA this is so great. A day trip in Hogsmeade with Hermione and Ron acting as quintessential parents is totally spot-on. Their love for one another through their give-and-take banter is obvious in this fic. I can imagine Ron being the type of dad to make dad jokes and wear trousers that are too short at the ankles. I don't blame Rose at all for keeping her relationship with Scorpius quiet based on Ron's predictable reaction hahahaha.

Haha I loved this! I completely understand Ron's feelings about the dentist *shudder* and his reaction to seeing Rose and Scorpius was hilarious. I don’t think that’s something any parent wants to see (I have a thirteen year old sister and even thinking of her making out with someone makes me shudder, let alone if it was my child!). It was good of him not to interrupt though, even though poor Hermione was going to have to put up with the whining!

I just started laughing because I knew exactly who she was kissing and that is the reason Rose avoided her parents. I'm glad that Ron had the common sense to leave the pair alone instead of rushing over and causing a scene. It shows how grown up he now is, even if it is his daughter.

I enjoyed reading about them going around Hogsmeade like when they were younger, and liked the reference to Hermione's parents - showing that she managed to return their memories to them. I also like that she got Ron to go to the dentist. Poor Ron wasn't expecting that!

Ghehehe I liked this. I think the idea of Ron and Hermione returning to Hogsmeade to meet up with Rose is cute (though, in the 3,5 years since she started, they haven't been to visit her?). Ron was his wonderful naive self, I can totally see him not getting that Rose's attitude towards him might be the same as his to his parents. I also liked how he's more mature about her relationship with Scorpius than I usually see him portrayed. He still doesn't like at, but he doesn't go an rampage course. As always, Hermione balances him.

An interesting look back at the town with Ron and Hermione. Given what we know about the Wizarding world, it is rather unsurprising that little has changed in the years since the Trio were at Hogwarts. The fact that anything at all has changed is a testament to the passage of time. A very enjoyable read.

That was something no father wants to see. I think Ron handled it quite well, way better than his younger self.

Haha this was cute. A lovely little moment shared between Ron and Hermione has they visit their old school haunts and partake in things they used to. I felt Ron's disappointment when Rose didn't show up, not wanting to admit that his daughter was growing up. And his shock at seeing Rose kissing Scorpius was gold. Oh Rosie, your dad told you specifically not to fall for the Malfoy boy. Nice job with this.

Hahahaha. Hermione and Ron were totally stood up! How typical of teenagers. But, Hermione is right, Ron would most likely have been MORTIFIED if his parents had ever shown up at Hogsmeade and planned a family outing where everyone from school could see them. Ron's reaction to that was priceless :p Ah, how we grow up!

Lovely story and nothing hindered the flow except for one thing (and this is a big pet-peeve of mine so please don't take it personally) but I feel the use of "responded" does not flow well in the fic. It's a word I see actually quite often in fanfiction and I just don't understand it! It sticks out like a sore thumb in fics that don't have a formal vibe to them! I mean, what's wrong with just 'replied'? xD

Ah, em, okay, rant aside, I loved Ron and Hermione's characterization. And Ron's promise to 'talk some sense into' Rose when she gets home is hilarious! Very Ron-like. And I can totally see him annoying Hermione with this up until Rose comes home. Poor Hermione! :p

Can U please write a fix about Hugo - I feel he is such a underrated character , and he's obviously going to be badass (with who his family are ) and I don't know I do enjoy time travel fics... So maybe something where Hugo goes back in time to 6th year of his parents ... And way this one shot was great as usual your stuff is always good !
