WHY. WHY is dumbles ignoring harry, not WHAT is dumbles ignoring harry!

Moving away from canon? That is what makes it fan fiction, and not a rewrite. All good stories have a point of divergence. For me I take the end scene and write it then start working backwards so all the little points and major points of divergence pull the last scene together. It works well I have one small story, a short that is stalled out but still being finished. Three original story's almost done which will be self published on a fiction site. I write often while "playing with game radio".

Well, I've been waiting and waiting for some change but so far, apart from talk, nothing has changed from the original story plot. Harry needs counselling and support of his friends. Dumbledore forces him to return to the Dursleys. Nobody writes him. Harry is kept in isolation instead of being supported and comforted. Dementors attack. Harry is angry and frustrated when he is finally dragged off to Grimmauld. Sounds familiar? Yes, exactly as the original except maybe way in the future. I give up about here.
