It's been so long since I've logged back into my account here in ffnet.
I loved this story so much when I was 15 years old, new to Hakuouki, and I'm glad that I went back to search for this fic 5 years later. Even at 20, this still brings back as much emotions as they did the first time I had read it.
It's really a master piece. Thank you for bringing this story to life.

Kinda it's amazing but I dont like when Chizuru always confesses her love first and he doesn't mutual her the same feeling, I hate this point so much and u use this point in all ur stories.

I'm not really Okita's fan. His attitude doesn't do it for me, really, but I decided to read the story because it sounded like it'd make me cry, an boy-oh-boy did it deliver! I love a good story that has you crying your eyes dry.
Your Chizuru was very well written, something that surprised me a lot, because she comes out as sweet and loving, although she is very canon (and I wasn't entirely satisfied with her personality either).
Curiously, my favourite character barely got any time in the story, but I still enjoyed it a lot. It was beautiful. I didn't expect the leap year ending, it surprised me, although the relapse I did expect. I did cry in that part anyways though.
In summary, a very enjoyable and heartfelt story. Thank you very much!

1868 was a leap year

Honestly, I'm not sure how to word everything I want to stay, but I really want to comment on this story, so...

I love this story. I love this three chapters of something so beautifully written, I can't even express fully. I had a lot of favourite stories before this, but it's been only a few days, and I have reread this three times. And I know it's not the last time.

The idea behind this story is utterly amazing, fascinating in a way, and I love it. I love how Chizuru decides to go and make a pact with a god, because honestly, no matter if anime or game, if there were gods in both, I can totally see her do it. But that aside, I live for the fact that she's stubborn enough to not talk for a year, despite still possessing her voice, and I like how the god went for this probably, because she kept silent about visiting him with her wish to everyone else, especially the one it concerned the most, Okita Souji. There are also the little details that I adore, like Chizuru having to wait for over 40 minutes, before the god showed itself to her.

I honestly adore this whole fic, everything is so well-written and everyone is in character. Because Okita would push her away (and probably fail at some point), and Chizuru would try to make Kondou happy with getting Tune to visit him. Kondou would try to marry Okita off in worry, and yes, Hijikata would tell at a goddamn well if it meant Okita would be healthy.

One of the parts that still gets me, is probably the almost rape scene. Despite what was happening and what could have happened, she didn't scream. God, if that doesn't show her stubbornness, then nothing will. And how Okita reacted... it's really strong. The whole scene is.

Your fic captivated me, and I love it very, very much. Thank you for writing those three lovely chapters.
