While I loved Senior (and Robert Wagner) and how he was in the show... they laid out a story for us and then dumped it. You addressed it and laid it out huge. Loved this (and hated it a little too). Well done. Bravo.

Oh my god.. Mel.. I've never seen more than a few bits and pieces of NCIS and definitely never anything to constitute or piece together and make an actual full Episode.. So I know jack about the Characters and storylines.. BUT.. THIS.. This was enough to let me know I want to bundle poor Tony up in a fluffy blanket and cuddle him and enough to let me know that I want to cut Jethro Gibbs' hands off at the wrists so he can never hit anyone ever again even if it is "just".. "an open handed slap to the back of the head".. my 1st stepdad would slap my little brother in the back of the head all the freaking time as "discipline" or "goofing off and joking around" and now he's about to be 23 years old in July but he's so developmentally impaired that he still has the mind of a little kid.. plus slapping someone in the head can cause partial or even total hearing loss too.. also problems with balance and equilibrium.. just so many issues can arise from a person getting slapped in the back of the head.. so reading this definitely made me feel a personal connection to poor Tony even if I've never seen enough of any of those random bits of NCIS to actually know who he is or anything about his Character.. my blood boiled just like it would boil for Sam Winchester (and YOU.. KNOW.. How I feel about the crap that happens to Sam Winchester).. so.. yeah.. I cried reading this and wanted to cuddle Tony and give him love and put a beat down on Gibbs.. I want to watch ALL of NCIS so bad.. but I have yet to find anything besides the later Seasons on DVD and I really wanna start from the beginning so I can get a feel for it...

Wonderful story, even though it's painful. I could absolutely see this happening, edpecially the way Gibbs has been treating Tony. Really glad tony/MW got out of there! Hope you write more some time, cuz this was great
