The evil doers are in prison. Barnhill understands that he and Amanda are friends only. Lee understands that he and Amanda are forever. Suspense, drama and well-written. Great story!

Lee Stetson is an opportunist. Barnhill is a pushover for anything Amanda wants. Barnhill's act worked; smoking buffoonery notwithstanding!

Amanda concocted an excellent diversion for Lee to get the upper hand on Burgess. Now, Lee's got an interesting strategy to trip up Burgess, if Barnhill cooperates.

Why doesn't Billy have Burgess under surveillance? Will Amanda get there in time to warn Lee? Or will she grab something and bash Burgess unconscious?

Glad they muddled through and found the truth of their mutual affection. Meanwhile, this case is steadily getting more dangerous.

Amanda is just playing her cover, but Lee experiencing some competition for her affections may prompt him to treat her better.

Since Barnhill is already involved with ChemiMed, both he and Amanda are potentially in danger while they're out for supper together. Lee's in no shape to intervene!

Love how Billy knows exactly which buttons to push to get Lee to comply. That nurse is also quite skilled at being a pain in the ... derrière, isn't she?

Lee's in the hospital unconscious and the disk with the evidence is gone. Why oh why didn't Lee and Amanda head directly to The Agency, put the disk in the vault and then head out to supper together? From the sound of it, they never made it out to supper before he dropped her off at home. How utterly frustrating on all levels!

What can possibly go right now that Amanda's former school chum is in the mix? At least Lee has the evidence in hand.
