Poor Nami! It is absolutely heart wrenching to see your safe place be broken into and utterly destroyed. On top of that, seeing the evident threats that the gang placed on her sister? Oof. I like how you wrote this scene and how you showed that despite Kid's temper, he still can be reliable and be there for Nami.

He got a motorcycle! Haha, it's cute that Kid blushes so easily. Also, it's great to see that Kid is very much aware of his flaws and how they affect his relationship with Nami. It's interesting to see that not only Nami hides things from Kid, but Kid also does the same. The confrontation is not going to be pretty...

It's cool that you were able to incorporate Nami's weapon into the story. Also, I found it interesting that you added the tidbit where the rod is hot. It's realistic and I never realized that it could be hot because in the manga, Nami always handles it with ease. Good thing she was able to fry at least four of the fishmen

Kudos to Kid for being an observant boyfriend yet loss of kudos for pushing Nami. It's interesting to continually see their dynamics and how Kid really pushes her and she concedes. Example being staying at his apartment. Favorite part of the chapter is Kid being considerate and asking Nami what she needs

I definitely can spot the red flags you mentioned in the beginning. I agree that Nami is at fault for hiding things and she should ne upfront with her last and why she's afraid, yet she's human. So she makes mistakes. I like how this is realistic and you're upfront about their issues

lol. Nami is such a tease and poor Kid. It's a hard lesson of patience and waiting that he's learning. It was cute to see him puff up and be so proud when Franky called him Nami's boyfriend.

Ha! Kid ate oranges cause he missed Nami. That's weird yet so cute. He's got it so bad for her. Also, great incorporation of the straw hats and their backstory with Nami. One of my favorite things about One Piece is the theme of friendship and bonds so I'm glad you kept it in there!

Nami has solid points and I am so glad that Kid is sensible enough to acknowledge these points and step back to let her lead. The kiss in the end was cute. 3

Kid's attitude definitely raises red flags. He's going to have to fix a lot of things about his personality before the relationship is a healthy one. Nami definitely has a reason to be wary and scared.

Roughhhhh. Kid is going to take this development seriously. And of course Nami runs for it, but I don't blame her.
