Just finished catching back up. It's so great to see more from this story! Your depiction of Harry and Tom is quite realistic, in my opinion—the barest tweaks to canon, leaving the vast majority in tact. It's heart-wrenching to see where they are right now, and I'm pleased as punch I took the time to re-read through what came before and reorient myself to the story.
