And you're obviously just as talented writing Lisbon's POV as you are writing Jane's.
I can't even begin to tell you how much I love this.
I love the exploration of Lisbon's thoughts, and the opposition "which I understand"/"which I'm trying to understand". Just show how much Jane wearing his wedding ring was still a struggle for Lisbon, despite her best efforts. Love that Lisbon got to voice her feelings and that Jane offered that very beautiful reassurance.
I also love how you articulated Lisbon's past and ane & Lisbon's past relationship with the issue at hand, It really gives a deep understanding of what was at stake, and how it's much more than a job issue (which is why the temporary agreement they reach is enough for that story). It's also very much about trust and about being yourself in a loving relationship. Now Jane took off his rng, which has to go a long way towards reassuring Lisbon about their future, and she knows marriage is on the table. All in all, the talk might have been a painful one, but it was a much needed one.

This story is my favorite story by you. Thank you so much for writing and sharing it!

This is the third time I read this...I figured a review was long overdue!
Well, I'm obviously still in love with this story...I totally love how you explored the ramifications of Lisbon's beliefs on where their story was headed. And it certainly provides another understanding of Lisbon clinging to her job, her thinking it's all she's ever gonna get.
Once again, I love Jane's POV and how much it allows you to cover: this reading of Teresa, the significance of his ring, how he envisions their future...
I really love that Jane can see this is hurting Teresa and decided to put an end to this.

You are definitely good at writing though as for the story itself I think you put too much in the ring. It is not about love or commitment for Jane, it is more about some symbolism and of course guilt and fear, something like this.
Of course both Jane and Lisbon holding back some plans, some witches for their future. Everything is still so new. And they have their issues and fears. But step by step they work it out. But as we can assume life will kick them in the ass and they will have to work it out far more quickly.

Dude the end of this made my morning. That's all I have to say. Like the rest of it was great too, but that ending... ;)

Beautiful! And it ended so hot! I just hope if/when we get chapter 3, he tells her his thoughts on a baby and how she'd be a fantastic mother, and all those things he was thinking in chapter 1! Good luck with your finals!
