The Review You Didn't Want:
The fact that this story exists is a godsend to me. While I enjoyed it so much the first time I read it I have come to love it so much more since then. It's provided we with something interesting to do at work when there was nothing else to do and I have been able to understand the story much better on a re-read. But that is because I was so enamered by the story on the first read that I couldn't see some of the important details. A story of this length, complexity and thoughtfulness on this subject is wonderful the fact that its completed should not be undervalued. I know this story caused massive amounts of stress for you while writing it. But I think you have created one of the best examples of work on this subject both on this site and within this entire universe. So yea even if it isn't perfect, you did it! You wrote a short novel. I loved every character you created and even those who had minor roles felt complete and whole. The interaction and dymanics between Nasira and the Predators was easy to understand but also succesfully convayed the foreignness betweeen the two of them. You (in a way that appeared effortless) maintained the mystic of the predators while also expanding on their lore and allowing readers to relate and become invested in them. I can not pick which I love more. Tresses with her regal bearing evolving into no less regal rage. Siwili just happy to be there and enjoying the chaos ( caused mostly by Nasira and Runite) around him. And Runite who is serious in only the way someone like he can be. But I especially enjoy when that seriousness slips and reminds us that he is a lot of hot air although he does have the skills physicaly to back himself up . I am not sure if this is how you inteneded these three to be seen but seeing this way has brought me a lot of happiness. I hope you will have some new projects in the future and no matter what they are I will be excited about them.

Really? Chapter 13 was the best so far in my opinion because I was scared there would be no lovey doves moments, but you made my wish come true! I wish there were a way I could like or love chapters.

It's nice to have caught up and finally finished this story. Citrine, this was amazing; The bittersweet tone from beginning to end was exactly the cup of tea that I enjoy to read on occasion, just as a reminder that life is harsh, and sometimes none of it goes your way, but that it leaves you at the very least alive to try and try again. Nasira is a very human character, beating herself against all of her faults to be the person she's expected to be, but the story unfolds and allows for it to be shown that one cannot separate oneself from one's most base of emotions, and that those are sometimes more powerful motivators than the 'correct' dictations by society and duty. Thank you for sharing this, though I am a little saddened that there will not be a sequel, this was a perfect ending for the story that was told, and it leaves to the imagination to hope that maybe things will get better, but there is still that bitter taste in the back of the throat that reminds, 'so long as one lives, it doesn't matter.'

Yay, the end! This was a good story! I'm curious as to what would have happened in the sequel (hopefully involving Runite, my mind still refuses to accept that he's dead) and sad you won't have time to write it, but I understand RL sometimes makes it hard to commit to writing a long story.

Also gotta say I agree with the reviewer who said it was refreshing to see a predator face reveal where the reaction didn't basically amount tho "what the fUCK IS THAT RAPTOR'S ARSE?!"
And... I just love how Nasira is so accepting of the Preds without being awfully callous about death. Granted, it's not like this trio has done anything exceptionally disagreeable. :b

I stayed up the whole night reading this. I found it on Ao3 first, then when the chapters ended there I thought maybe there'd be more on since that sometimes happens; was so happy when I saw that was the case. Fucking love it. Fucking love Nasira as a protag, she's So Good. Love everything and love-hate the misery, hahaha. You've been doing such good work!

Dearly departed, we are gathered here today in honor of Dear Edmund, whose fate was sealed in chapter 19. Some might say this boy's demise was a long time coming, but truth be told, that doesn't make his passing any easier. I didn't know Edmund well, but he was a Soft Boy. I appreciated his willingness to cry and carry on. Most admirable were his lowkey stabs at romance, which never jeopardized the Flagship Nasunite in any noticeable way. He is survived by Nasira (for now) and my Incredible Distress at the helpless nature of his death.

AND WE'RE BACK. TO SCREAMING. One year later, MeltThisBitch2016 has turned into WaitNotNasira2017. Tresses' righteous fury is understandable ("tear it up babe," I whisper under my breath) but this is getting to be sO MUCH. Siwili's still bleeding out god knows where, Runite's suffering from airlock fever in the vastness of space, and the encounter I've been dreading is popping off to disastrous effect. You ever get to a certain point in a video game, and realize you entered Bad Ending territory 5 questionable decisions ago? I'M.. THERE. Nasira's done her best and tbh I'm willing to blame Marcus for anything/everything (up to and including inconveniences I encounter in my own life, like not being able to drive yet) but great googly moogly it's all gone to Shit. Can we still get out of her with my Wife, Ship, and dying DILF intact? I GENUINELY.. DON'T KNOW. I mean here's hoping but you're not exactly a merciful god lmaoo (hahaaaa aaaaaaughhh)

Bonus: A Running Scene that Treated Me So Right:

This is such a good story! Well-written and interesting. I loved the Predators in this, and I hope Runite is alive. Siwili too, him being struck down tugged at my heartstrings something fierce. I'll await the next update eagerly!
