Cute story but because I can't help but leave concrit - pronouns were create for a reason. You start a ton a paragraphs with "Ezra", which makes sense because he's the main character. However, you can start paragraphs with "he" or with action words like "deciding to" instead of "Ezra decided to" to vary up the starting phrases a bit.

Oh, this as so sweet! I love that Ezra finally got a hug! It kinda made me cry, though. Too many feels from a cartoon!
