Wow, all I can say is wow. I wish a lot of this would've happened in the series. I ship them as much as the next person and I would get a lot of shit for it, somebody would say that they wouldn't work because there's no trust between them and she's better off with another time traveller because simply they relate, which I think is weak, just because you relate doesn't automatically make you compatible. Trust is what works in any relationship and when Carlos found out about Kiera being from the future he took it well and they were able to trust each other and get closer and he's had many ups and downs with her from learning her secrets to seeing another Kiera dead, and building up that trust again.

I was hoping that Brad would've died or went to jail, the series teased us with a fight between he and Carlos but it never happened, Brad was a horrible character, he kills other Kiera and brings his baggage from his timeline, and makes a big mess at the VPD. Even if I stand alone in shipping Carlos and Kiera I'll still do it, he's the only one that didn't want her to go and was showing more of his feelings for her in the 4th season, he said I don't want to lose you which was powerful. Hopefully if we get the potential movie I've been hearing about, then maybe, just maybe they'll bring them together.

oh, thank you. I just finished Continuum with my little brother, and you probably know how... bitterly sweet the ending is. It's appropriate, I think, and I would have been upset if they broke from the "realness" of the time-traveling issues to give Keira her own happy ending with her family (when the "her" in the new future would never have been sent back to the past to change things) ...

It's appropriate...but I couldn't help but think "Get your butt back to Carlos, kiddo."

Anyway, this is very well done. I'm so tickled...I'm surprised there aren't more Carlos/Keira fanfictions. Depressed, really. What's wrong with everybody?
