I have finally found it. THIS is how canon Mai and Naru would end up together. I think it flowed very well and built up nicely in these three chapters. Brilliantly done!

Finally! Truly in character, especially Naru. I'd also think that he'd always firm on his belief of Mai's feelings for Gene. That idiot. If he just let Mai explain before, he wouldn't have to be suffered through what seems to be an unrequited love.
