*Ugly sobbing* That was too perfect for words. Loved the Killian and David bonding and pretty sure my head exploded picturing Killian protecting baby Neal. Really creative parallels between K and D both losing a brother and of course your CS feels were a thing of beauty, as always. Oh my god, you're so right. Emma has never once said Neal's name since it was revealed. God, I hope they address this on the show because it IS weird AS FUCK. I love that you mentioned that here cause even in fic we don't acknowledge that Emma's brother is named after the man who, albeit gave her Henry, also put her in jail to take the fall for his crime. I hope this is brought up in the show in a conversation between Emma and Killian. Even if it's off screen cause then you could fill in the blanks in that awesome way you do. :

Anyway, love the bro bonding moments here and all the CS moments as well. Especially with Killian telling Emma about Liam's life. So powerful. Even the moments with Belle and Killian were wonderful. This fic is lovely!
