I hope that your opinion has changed, and that a woman marrying a known abuser who apparently only feels guilty for his philandering and not for being an abusive sad sack of dung. I have a lot of respect for some abusers. You know why? Because they know what they're doing is wrong and they're trying to change. My father would be an excellent example. He attended anger management classes and therapy from the time I was six and I respect the hell out of him for it. However, an abuser that shows no remorse, that does not seem to realize what he's doing is wrong, and horrible and stupid and the worst thing you can do to a human being short of rape but that's just another type of abuse, deserves to burn in the lowest pit of Hell. They deserve suffering of the likes that no man can even fathom. No I never felt sorry for that pathetic, stupid, sorry sack of shit! I only wish he'd suffered more as a child and as an adult and that maybe his father had killed him! Proud abusers deserve no solace, no rest no safety. I seriously question you liking the bad guy wins ending.

Thank you for writing this alternative ending. I love angst but I feel as though I couldn't read any other Mericcup (is that the ship name for them? I'm not sure) stories because this one got a hold on me. It wouldn't be the same to read them in another story without your characterizations. But oh, thank you so much for taking me into this ride! You made me ship them harder!

IMO I prefer 'happy endings' especially to ones where everyone dies. Sorry if I was way to mean, angry, hurtful, and whatnot in my other review for the main story. After all, they DID technically end up happy, just dead and in whatever form of 'Heaven' they believed in. The real reason I didn't like that ending is because I don't really think I believe in anything concrete like that.

Either way, sorry, and good work with this.
