Great story. This could have been an actual episode. I love that we get to see them in action as well as their reactions and interactions at the end of the day as well. Although I guess Sam should watch what he asks for. At least the second guy with a gun happened at the beginning of shift instead of the end. I especially love how Sam couldn't wait any longer to take Jules in his arms and reassure himself that she was okay. And that once they got home, it was Jules who couldn't get enough of kissing him. It's clear how much they love each other and it's truly a beautiful thing. Thanks for sharing this.

I love the intro, the exhaustion, but they still take care of each other! And the way they check in on each other during the call without it distracting then from the job. Can I make a small suggestion? After the sentence where Greg calls, "Scorpio," maybe break into a new paragraph? As a climax to the story, it deserves emphasis. Otherwise, awesome story! Is the "couch gymnastics" at the end a reference to AJJ's background? :-)
