This was so sweet and adorable! The way how everything came in full circle when Hiro decided to learn Japanese to honor Tadashi's memory and how he grumbled that Tadashi could convince him to do anything. I especially relate to Hiro's defiance in learning Japanese because I've also been steadfastly ignoring Mandarin for the last 14 years since I don't really feel the pull of that culture cause most of my family members speak English all the time.
Long story short, I love everything about this fic and you have an enviable writing style :)

*Sniff* *Sniff* ...Well done. Beautifully well done. I had a feeling that Hamada brothers had some knowledge of speaking Japanese,much less reading and or speaking it. You did it in a realistic, yet bittersweet way and I love that. Though, I'm pretty sure "onii-san" or "nii-chan" would have worked a little better than aniki. That's just my opinion. I mean Hiro does call Tadashi "nii-chan" in the manga. Bottom line, I love this story, despite the minor,minuscule mistakes. Keep up the good work.

I love it... its so cute! It made a tear or two feel, if I am honest.
But since I am Mexican, I am going to be tough in the lenguage trans, I hope you dont mind too much...
I am not sure if "No estoy escuchando a tù" is right... I dont know, considering we have spain spanish and latin american spanish, its a mess with that, but I dont know... Do I recall on you saying you used google trans? Oh well... I think in a more...er...a bit more accurate way would be "¡No estoy escuchandote!" o "¡No te estoy escuchando!". Besides, if you can, next time be a bit more especific in what lenguage hes talking, I mean, was he talking latin american spanish or spanish from spain? And, just one more thing: If you can, use the other "¡!" These two simbols are used when writing in spanish, so, while in english it would be "I am not listening to you!" in spanish it would be "!No estoy escuchandote!" -Using both of them, given to the fact that spanish uses both simbols while english only uses one. Same for the "?¿" (How are you today? ¿Como estás hoy?)
