Ah, this is absolutely beautiful. My eyes were a bit blurred reading it. It felt like I was glimpsing through Caroline's brain. Her thoughts and feelings. Those flashbacks with Liz breaking my heart. Klaus's apperance made my heart jolt and also I was chanting yes and how he handled everything. Him being considerate enough to give her space and that whole interaction was just spot on. This is so them. I wish this could have happened in canon world...you know? I've been meaning to start reading your wonderful and brilliant stories so I'm very excited right now! This was so raw and emotional. It reminded me of one of my favourite songs, On Your Porch by The Format. x
