I just finished reading the story in one go and I have to say that I love Backburner Universe that you have created. It was full of emotions and I enjoyed all the character interactions.

It may have ended on an uncertain note in your last chapter but I have hope that Touka and Haise/Kaneki will be able to conquer their future obstacles together. After all - they've always been better together than apart.

And now I'm sobbing once again from this obscure ending.. UGH I honestly cannot stop crying and now knowing Sasaki's side of the story just made it 5 thousand times sadder and knowing that he KNEW just... I'm currently an emotional mess and I love this one-shot. (Guess it's not really a one-shot anymore though)
