I like yours much better!

This is the nicest Three Hearts story I've read in fanfiction. These two lovers were going to pull a fast one on their partners and supervisors. Love it.

I only started watching NCIS:LA this past season (7), so by the time I saw this episode this summer, I already knew Densi was canon. That said, I would have been royally peeved after this ep had I been watching in "real time," until I read this wonderful story, that is. What a great idea, and very well executed!

I so wish they'd done this on the show. It is totally awesome. Nicely done. Still chuckling.

As you may notice, I'm a bit behind on reading this, but I loved it! I would have gone for that ending in a minute! Then what fun to watch them "prank" the rest for the rest of season 4 and 5!

HA HA! This was great, and my new head cannon for that wonderful scene in 3 Cat Vomits as I like to refer to it.

If only this was what happened! Although we have had humbug since (but only expiration date after that, but that I'm bitter by the Callen and Sam show we had at the end of the season)

Lovely scene great interactions and personal moments. Especially loved the line about preferring the other communication and Kensi and Deeks turning the tables. You should do other subterfuge episodes running up to humbug, them fooling hetty and granger

Love it! i love that the scene that we actually saw- where he gave her knife back- was just a ruse in this story for the sake of keeping their relationship a secret. Because on the show, with that scene actually happening, for some reason I think that is the saddest scene in the history of this series.

I really like this idea. Something many haven't done and totally original. Great work and I can't wait to see more.

I wonder though...the greatest test will be Taila in the season finale. And maybe that's why they were so chummy at the end of episode 1 of season 6. Kensi reveals all in the car after the cat fight. Now I am all excited.

Wow if this is only your 2nd DENSI fic, then you have an amazing gift for writing the characters! Hope you will continue to write more of these "fillers" or missing scenes, as you're truly great at it! Cheers.

Based on how these two have been acting in season 6 I have been thinking the same exact thing. Nicely done, and if this how well you do on your second fic I can't wait to read more of your work.
