I am usually quite surprised to see your review count so low, despite how thought out your explanations and opinions and studies are of these two. You're very thorough, and I imagine you certainly pay attention to the show and everything you can find about it. I rather enjoy reading your work here. It's interesting, like a form of stream-of-consciousness, of those thought out ideas as they take shape, while also tying in other ideas and points made earlier and later at intersections. Your work really makes me think about their relationship and their characters as a whole, particularly this one. I truly love how you captured that tension and the changes that occurred between Clara and the Doctor. You really do their characters well, and i applaud you for the amount of effort you must put into these writings. I've only seen Series 8, so all of my knowledge on their interactions comes from the new face and her coping, so to have some of the gaps filled in through your works in such an intricate manner is amazing... Though, I'll really have to work my way back to see them before Trenzalore at some point.

I am now very tempted to go back and re-watch Series 8 just to really get a good look at their dynamic once more. Thank you for really getting me to think on them once more! Can't wait to catch up on the rest of this!

This is a great in-depth series about Clara and Twelve's relationship and captures all the reasons I ship them like crazy. I love Capaldi's doctor and Clara is the perfect companion for him, in more ways than one. I am glad I am not the only one that feels this way. Their chemistry is remarkable, and to me it's more than platonic. Thanks, I hope to see more.

This is by far the most in depth, scholarly analysis of Twelve and Clara I have ever read. Well thought out.

I know I've already given a fairly long review for Chapter 3 and I hope this won't be taken for tedious, but I simply had to say something else after I read this and your author's note. I have to say, after watching and re-watching all of Season 8, that despite my own suspicions, Mr. Capaldi has "wowed the crap out of me" so far. And again, I find myself in total agreement with you...that while he may never fit the "pretty-boy" picture that Matt & even David fit into, I find myself caring less & less about it. I hope he never does, frankly. I'm having more fun just watching this genius actor work his magic for this character. He is the Doctor. Period. End of story. And besides that, he's a really sweet guy, father, & co-worker in real life. And every bit as charming & witty as James Bond.
He is, as his co-star, Jenna, has so often stated: "A real rock-star". Long may he reign.

I can't stress enough how amazing a moment it is, when one finds the *perfect* story for them, one that matches their own moods, feelings, & opinions on a certain matter or, in this case, their fandom. Specifically, how one feels when their opinions regarding favorite characters from their favorite fandom are mirrored back at them in wonderful and unexpected ways. Such as it is with me & this series of your stories. "Wow" is an understatement...and wouldn't quite seem like enough of an appropriate adjective to encompass the talent & level of detail displayed here. You've clearly done your homework and had I been an English teacher, would send you home with an "A" for the day. For the week, even. This series has been absolutely fascinating to read so far, & I'm only on Chapter 3! Positively giddy to read the other six! Bah...who needs sleep, anyway? ;o)
