Good chapter! Canon or uncanon? Well as I am lacking of good fic to read so I am tempted to ask for both a canon version and a noncanon sequel or what ever it's called. Sorry I'm not helping! Anyway thank you for your work and for sharing :)

Hey, I just found this, and I think it's pretty good. One suggestion, I believe Hermione would be very disorientated at first. She would be confused, and have a hard time grasping the idea that she was safe. Torture doesn't just affect you physically, but also emotionally, mentally and psychologically. And Hermione wasn't the only one who suffered. Listening to Hermione getting tortured affected the other as well, especially Ron. You're doing a good job of showing this, thanks.

I really like that you also focus on the healing process. I personally consider that very important, because - let's be honest here - who shrugs some really serious torture just off with "mudblood and proud of it". I mean okay Hermione is badass & awesome but still...

Well I am trailing off... What I actually wanted to tell you is that I also enjoy your style. It is quite visual and I can picture it perfectly well (let's just ignore the fact that I like watched the scene 30.000 times ;) )

Was Hermione suffering effects and she was just imagining this? Or did she somehow get left behind? Ron has to be the one she is smelling/sensing.

The worse scene ever...I cried when I read it the first time :'( tbh I teared up during the movie. I knew Hermione made it out alive but knowing what she went thru and poor Ron listening to the love of his life suffering and unable to do much was sad. Good job bringing it to life.
