Know what would have been a dramatic plot twist?

If Ginny had been faking all of it because she just wanted Harry to admit that he was gay. That she was hoping that by annoying him enough, he’d just blow up in her and scream something along the lines of “I’m gay” and then she’d just smirk, say, “I know,” then walk away or something.

But then at the end she finds out that he had already known and just never told her that he was already in a relationship despite the fact that it might have made her back off.

Then she just screams in frustration, and they all think it’s because she has no chance with Harry before she just yells, “I HAVE BEEN TRYING TO GET YOU WITH HIM FOR NEARLY OVER A YEAR, AND IT TAKES A CONTRACT BETWEEN YOU AND ME FOR YOU TO FINALLY GET TOGETHER? IF I HAD KNOW *THAT* I WOULD HAVE DONE IT AGES AGO!” while stomping up to him with a scowl on her face.

Then she just hits him in he chest a few times with surprising strength before storming back over to her seat, ripping out a piece of parchment and a quill before furiously scribbling something onto it before grabbing all of her things and walking out of the hall in frustration.

And everyone is just like “wtf” and Harry tries to get answers from Ginny at lunch, but she refuses to speak to him because she’s so mad that one, he never told her, and two, it took a freaking CONTRACT for him to finally get it.

That would have been glorious.

Oh my god, I hate that pairing, but I still loved this story. Spot on!

Enjoyed the pieces of humor mixed into this story.

I haven't read this in a long time. The only thing that really annoyed me was that you reiterated so much information multiple times. The reader already knows about why Ginny's doing what she's doing, what things she hates, the fact that Molly is using a similar tactic with Arthur and that Harry and Professor Snape are a couple. It isn't necessary to say it so many times.

Apart from that, I only have one question. If the contract is magically binding and must be followed through, then how can Ginny cancel it? It doesn't make sense. Having her realize, "I made a mistake; I'll cancel the contract" isn't enough. If she's able to do that, then it isn't REALLY binding, is it?

Yes, I always detested Molly and those "octopus" hugs of hers - the ones that squeeze you so tight you cannot breathe! I also hated the way she hen pecked Arthur and how he had no control over his wife at all. I am not surprised that she was said to have used a love potion to get him into a marriage contract.

Interestingly enough, Snape's mother did the exact same thing - used a love potion to get married and pregnant.

I still didnt understand how Ginny could one sidedly bind Harry like that for a year. Wouldnt it be used a lot more, as blackmail or something?

Poor Ginny, listening to her mother & poor Arthur... :( Though it would be really funny if he got together with a bloke to spite Molly! And hearing Neville was into bondage made me laugh so hard! XD Great story! :)
