 anotheraccount1 chapter 1 . 2/2/2017 This was beautiful, it feels so rare to find a fic that radiates with such passion for Doctor Who, both classic and new. Both classic elements and modern elements fit seamlessly, it really does feel like the same characters from the 60s are interacting with these characters from the 2010s, and not only that, the incredible eye for continuity really makes it feel like Doctor Who, no matter what bit of it I love, co-exists with the all the other bits I love. Great job, it almost makes me want to see this be more than a one-shot, to see Ian, Barbara and Twelve continueite to play off one-another, but that would take away from the magic of it. The only nitpick I have is that Barbara could have said 'You've redecorated, I like it!' but hey, no story can be 100% perfect. (half-joking, btw) |
