LOL. I cracked up when sexually frustrated Sam mumbled his comment when Jules 'fell asleep'. He's so adorable. I want my distraction, too! Thanks for writing this - I've missed your work. What a treat to come home from a long day at work and find a little present waiting in my inbox. So much to love about this story. The way Sam knows Jules so well, the way his need to protect her even from herself wins out over his knowledge that she wants to be independent and work through things on her own, the way he tries to distract her, Jules "falling asleep" on him before he succeeds, the fact that he's willing to put his own needs aside so she can get some sleep, Jules pouncing on him to get him to carry through with what he'd started. So much love between the two of them. Very hot, very beautiful. Great job as usual. Always a pleasure.
