LOVE IT!
Susannah Wilde chapter 1 . 3/5/2015
Wow, such a brilliant story that I don't even know what to write! Definitely one of my favorites, though.
I know okay chapter 1 . 1/1/2015
I loved this story and and I almost didn't read it.

The school was so much more than a religious school. It was more like a cult. Now I had a pastor for a father, but for me it was different. We did a lot with the homeless and stuff. My father loves science and Eastern medicine and we were always taught to question everything and have our own opinions. My best friend was raised with a psycho religious mother that believed some of these things. I think she uses her religion to hide her psychosis, only she's not fooling anyone. The older I get the more I feel like I've left religious trappings. I haven't lost or forgotten my faith, just what people have made it.

WAS THAT A DOCTOR WHO REFERENCE? I THINK THAT WAS A DOCTOR WHO REFERENCE.
Guest chapter 1 . 10/25/2014
All I can say is that this is the most magnificent piece of well written fanfiction that I have read so far concerning the awful disgrace that is Grace Ann's story.
M-dog14NCISgeek chapter 1 . 10/20/2014
I read your clean version first and I knew that sex scene was omitted by the context around it. I will admit that I came to this version solely for that part. While an unnecessary part (which is why I'm guessing you took it out and resubmitted) I thoroughly enjoyed it. It wasn't fake either. While I've never gone all the way with someone, I've gotten far and some stories have sex scenes that are just impossible. This was believable.

Great story either way! Keep it up!
Guest chapter 1 . 10/16/2014
At first I thought this is a parody of that wonderful trollfic (I'm 99% convinced Grace Ann's a troll), but even though I quickly realized it's not I stayed and read all of it. This was cute! And the Drarry romance was adorable.

Yours sincerely,

I was enjoying it, and then the sex scene happened which I bypassed. The bits I actually read were well done :)
VennSync chapter 1 . 10/14/2014
...I am in the presence of a master. *bows to you*

You've managed to take everything wrong with Grace Ann's work and turn it on its head, and in a most delightful way.

I noticed only four typos, which is very good (I have eagle eyes). I'm going to point them out because a story this good shouldn't have any errors, so hopefully you'll be able to fix them and make this story perfect.

Lucius commands Draco to "breath," when he should have commanded him to "breathe." The librarian says "all hours of then night," and McGonagall at one point says "Notable" when she means "Notably." And finally, "been back up" instead of "need back up." These are all mistakes a spell-checker probably caused. No worries. Everyone typos.

Also it's probably just my complete lack of interest in sexual matters talking, but I felt like the sex scene could have been omitted. Then, the story could be rated T and more people would probably find it. It's pretty obvious Harry and Draco are infatuated with each other without such explicit description.

Thank you for writing this. I have thoroughly enjoyed your evisceration of "Hogwarts School of Prayer and Miracles."
Mycroft-mione chapter 1 . 10/10/2014
Except for the M stuff, which I personally feel you didn't need to put in (not because it was slash, but because it was unnecessary), this piece is fantastic. It offers amazingly tolerant suggestions of how to live one's life that it could be applied to any or all religions. Thank you so much for correcting Grace Ann's blindness to the truth. I hope you get many more readers! -Myc
Daerwyn chapter 1 . 10/9/2014
I would just like to say that I hope more people read this story than proudhousewife's story. This story teaches the true love for everyone that Christianity should be teaching. And I enjoyed every minute of it, because it taught every lesson the Bible teaches, in relation to a more modern, looser interpretation (I especially loved how Harry speaks out against authority and his reasonings). Admittedly, I was reading this wondering what Grace Ann would be thinking or saying to her husband and her little ones at Fort Parsons. Especially when it got to the Drarry:) Nice twist, by the way. I really loved how you set up their relationship and made it so that all Christians are not perfect human beings and you can still be Christian, even if you're gay, straight, fundamentalist or not (though I do agree that the fundamentalism that Grace Ann is promoting is dangerous to all of society on Earth and will be harmful if it promotes violence against other religions... Westboro Baptist Church in mind...)

Thank you for this story and I love how you made it all about love and acceptance and understanding of others, instead of conversion, conversion and conversion. Fantastic!
PixelButterfly chapter 1 . 10/9/2014
Amazing. Truly amazing. Words cannot express how much this means to me.
My family is Buddhist and Christian (mostly Buddhist) and I get a lot of shit from people about being different. What you said about the girl in the hijab really touched me. This is a wonderful piece of work and I'm proud to have read it.
PhoenixPhoether chapter 1 . 10/7/2014
So...I wasn't going to read this because I didn't realize it wasn't more religious-y stuff. I'm glad I tood the risk! Oh, my goodness. This is fantastic! And...Narnia! What a lovely story, so much better than that horrid original version. Just perfect. From someone who escaped rigid, fundamentalist religion, thank you for this.
Guest chapter 1 . 10/5/2014
That's definitely a story way to lovely to be the answer for a joke like Hogwarts School of Prayer and Miracles.
