Ohh... this was adorable. The otter stealing his sock... and his reaction was hysterical. (Ugh. I'm miss 11...) But it's so much the Doctor; after he stops grumbling, of course he'd have settled right into otter life.
And, I have a funny feeling that once River stopped being angry and blaming him, that would totally have been her line!
