I feel that this was just too good to be put in a one-shot. You could SO go into a multi-chapter story with this... you definitely should, too!

I almost knew how this was going to end once I got to the "old mouse finishing his tale"... ;) I was still surprised, none the less. I didn't expect he and the wolf to be friends. :o

I'm jealous at how well you could put this together without making it into several chapters, especially with the detail you included. xD

But anyway, great job! :D I hope to see more from you soon!
