Given that this was your first fanfic you did quite well.
I would suggest having your story go through a beta since there are some spelling errors.
It also would have been good to clarify why Voldemort went after the supposed Potter family since the prophecy hasn't been mentioned.
That was the only plot hole I could find.
Btw, your punishment of the Dursleys with the potions seems familiar; I have read another fanfic that used the exact same idea but I cant remember which one it was so I cant tell whether the idea was taken from your fic or vice versa.
One thing that bothers me is that Snape is a little too nice, I'm not saying he would behave toward this flesh and blood like a monster but he is snarky and I cant imagine him easily initiating physical contact with other people, even if it is his son he's hugging.
It would have been better if both of them very slowly opened up to each other and not in a matter of 24 hours.
Again, given that this was your first fanfic it was really well done and everything I have mentioned is meant as constructive criticism.

The manner in which you conjugated 'to be grounded' was somewhat odd (though I can't recall how you did it at the moment) but since it's been 5 years since you posted this story, you probably don't need that feedback anymore.

It's clear to me that you've always been talented though. I'll be starting on reading the sequel when I get home today. I am very curious.

Also, sorry for not reviewing every chapter. Sometimes I just don't know of anything new to say, or not enough to warrant a review. I do my best to review frequently though.
