Is this where it ends for now? That's sad .. I was really looking forward to finding out what happened next in your story. It had just gone of into an original episode, too .. It still has so much potential. I hope you finish it someday.
Well, on a brighter side, I really enjoy what you've written so far. I like how you were gonna patch up a bit of Jack's memory-loss. I wonder where you were gonna take Mickey .. Were Martha, Donna and the Ponds etc. etc. ever gonna appear on the TARDIS? I hope so. "The Doctor's Wife" could have been funny, especially if Nine hadn't regenerated. I wonder how he would have taken TARDIS/Idris throwing herself at him at first sight. Would he have realised who she was quicker? I don't think he would have been so consumed with finding the other supposed Time-Lords. I think he would have solved it all quicker. Like you've said before, Nine was fresh from the War. He's a solider. A romantic, but still a solider. I think it would have been funny to see Nine interact with Sylvia Noble (Donna's Mum) and Mrs Jones (Martha's mother).

I'm a bit of a geology nut, and I'm glad you have the actual geology behind the San Andreas instead of the "fall into the ocean" rubbish. Do humans have technology to arrest and/or reverse plate tectonics yet, and is their meddling creating more pressure at the transform boundary? If so, I can see this quake being extremely devastating. Are you going to base this quake on the 1906, and possibly have fires, rolling blackouts, and the slip disrupting technology?

I can't wait to read more!

OMG! I love this story! I started reading it this morning and now it's 1.20am, 14 1/2 hours later, and I'm up to date. Please, please tell me that you plan to finish the story. I've always been a 10/Rose fan but you have done such a fantastic job with the characters and have convinced me that 9/Rose is a good, if not better, way to go. I know it's been a while since you've posted an update but I'm sure that if you reread the story, you'll get some new idea's, especially if you can't find your old notes.

I just found this story and I absolutely love it! The way you handle the characters, and their development, is incredibly believable. Though I love the tenth doctor, I love seeing how nine acts in certain situations. I also always love the thought of nine and rose in a relationship. I really hope you continue this story. I'd love to see how you handle girl in the fireplace and fear her.

I have to agree nine was my doctor also and to be honest when they changed him to ten most of the chemistry was lost cause ten was more confident in his feeling towards rose it made him feel more secure and nine wouldn't have let rose use a separate magna-clamp he would have been using the same magna-clamp so when the lever came lose he would have gone and fixed it instead of letting rose risk her life
