I decided to give this story a go because it has a lot of good reviews. Honestly, it's not the best fic I've ever read, but I did like some of the ideas in the story; it's a nice view of what might happen in Akihiko's and Misaki's future.
However, there are some things that I think could have been better. The actual story is fine, but some bits of it are rushed and the spelling/grammar needs a lot of work. There are also quite a lot of large paragraphs and run-on sentences, which encourages skimming.
Another thing is the characters- some of them, like Akihiko, were written rather well, but others such as Misaki and Takahiro could be very OOC at times. Their dialogue was a little bit wooden, and they didn't really sound like themselves.
What I did really like were the moments between Misaki and Akihiko. They were very sweet and heart warming and their love for each other was really apparent. As I said before, I also thought the plot was good, and there was some nice tension during the parts where Takahiro refused to accept his brother's relationship. I found the wedding chapters and the ending particularly lovely. :3
In short, while there were things that could have been improved on, this story was quite enjoyable nonetheless. I think you have the potential to write some great fanfiction in future (be it for this fandom or another), so I encourage you to strengthen your writing skills and keep at it.

I truly loved this story, you took a seemly simple premise and brought alot of life into it and made it more full. Very enjoyable tender and funny at times. As an older gay man in a long term relationship I know something about acceptance or should I say non-acceptance of my relationship. It took years and countless arguments to get to a point on an uneasy acceptance. My family who was so dead set against me seems to have forgotten all the hell they put us thru to get to this point so I can relate to your wonderful story. Thank You!

For the Car situation. Having been to England and France there is a ferry system where you simply drive your car aboard and it takes you across. Having taking that into consideration I personally didn't find it necessary to write down that they took said ferry system. thanks for the review! I love you my fans

Misaki's last name is Takahashi. And you do realize that England and France are separated by the ocean? XD I wonder how Usagi could get there by car..?
