Autumnights chapter 1 . 11/19/2014
We don't have enough rocket and Gamora stories. This is great.
Auua Ytjoml chapter 1 . 10/25/2014
I really like this. It's quiet, which is good because despite the seriousness of this situation angst/wumph wouldn't suit the characters or the mood. Very well done.
yornma chapter 1 . 10/1/2014
I've read this several times and never left a comment, sorry. I really liked this idea of Rocket & Gamora bonding over this.

Thank you for exploring something that I've not see in fanfics so far.

Will there be more to this?

Interesting story! And you make a good point about cybernetics and created an adorable/painful bonding moment between Gamora and Rocket. I like this! :D
ChaoticGods57 chapter 1 . 9/12/2014
I fail to see why this story doesn't have more reciews or favorites. This writing is absolutely amazing!
CaptainBeatty chapter 1 . 8/27/2014
I liked this! Not too intense, but you can definitely feel the bonding coming through. Are you going to write a companion piece for Rocket? Thanks for sharing your story!
Peace Like a River chapter 1 . 8/26/2014
I loved this so incredibly much, you don't even know.

I loved the idea of Gamora being cybernetically modified, and having that in common with Rocket - I don't remember ever seeing that concept explored in a fanfiction before, but it's definitely plausible (since the film was pretty vague on exactly what kinds of 'bio-mods' she had been given). I also loved how Rocket didn't pressure her to do anything, one way or the another, in the pretext of 'doing it for her own good.' Instead he gave her the space to make her own decision (probably a courtesy that he himself had never been offered).

I also appreciate that the story didn't devolve into a mess of cheezy unicorn rainbows towards the end - I appreciate fluff when it's called for, but too much over-the-top sentiment and spilling of secrets would have just been out of character and would have killed the mood of this piece. Gamora's response to Rocket's casual line about trust ("Plenty left in there, trust me." "I think I do.") was the perfect way to wrap things up. :)

Anyway, I'm gushing. Will do my best to stop gushing now, and leave this review in at least a semi-coherent state. One final note: I agree with Gamora - I hope her mental image of Rocket pushing at Peter's legs to get him to leave the room was accurate. XD

Kudos,
