Agh what a shame this is only a one shot! And you deserve so much more than two reviews! I really enjoyed the premise of this, I don't tend to see much similar to this so it was refreshing to see something quite different.

Your characterisation is also great. I loved Poppy's caring firmness and the sass that she seems to show infinitely was present too which I loved.
