| Felicja chapter 1 . 8/7/2017 It;s a beautiful story, even if it was so heartwrenching to read. I adored this. However,it seems a bit farfetched to witness Stoick so loving and affectionate towards his son after he admitted to having been not even aware his son could cook - it somehow came across as if he couldn't have been even bothered before if Hiccup starved or not. So it's weird to see him change from not giving a damn about his one and only child to suddenly overflowing with affection. Not that I didn't enjoy seeing that. Hiccup deserves all the affection and more. We also know Stoick did become more supportive of his son in the cannon, but it was shown in much more subtle ways. Then, got to love Gobber. And yet, he did nothing even if he was aware of Hiccup getting beaten up, starved and pushing himself? I know there is giving someone their space, but then there is watching impassively someone getting destroyed. Still,liked it a lot! |
