Love it! I thought the pacing was wonderful. I love how it was all humorous in the beginning, then slowly became more serious. I love the line about once she realized how much he cared for her, she could "see evidence of it in every move he make."

Ahh! This was amazing! Seriously, this is so original and you just pulled it off so well. Crazy well. It was the perfect balance of humor and cuteness (but not too mushy...loved that) and for some reason, the kiss out of the blue didn't seem so out of the blue. I could practically sense their uncertainity while they kissed and before and after... I'm like loving this fic, you have no idea. One of the first real quality things I've read in a loong while. Thank you thank you.

oh, maaaan, Kirk! that was beautiful, i could truly hear each line being said by him, so perfectly done. and the luke/lorelai conversation at the end was really good.

*starts laughing again*, oh and kirk flailing and kicking luke off ... now that is an amusing image.

Ha, Kirk. I think he's my favorite eccentric-town-guy-non-friend-of-Gilmores, and you got him down good (or well, if you're gonna go all grammarian on me). Anywho, thank you for writing about the Kirk-asking-Lorelai-out-deal, because it really galls me that Kirk had the guts to ask her out and Luke doesn't. Anyway, this was nice and funny and read very similar to an episode-you have the dialogue-with-hidden-pieces-of-poignancy down, so why do you write more?
