I was just wondering... If Ruby and Bilbo are friends, wouldn't she defend him at least a little when Thorin insults him? I feel like being a strong woman as ruby is, she wouldn't let injustice happen to a friend

I didn't know exactly how to start my review.
So, usually I much prefer a story to have a happy ending, just like most people. But this story took me on a journey. Really! I laughed and I cried (A LOT. Like, ugly sobbing, snot galore kind of cry). I could see that the ending IS actually a quite essential part in this story. At first I couldn't really accept it. But as I reviewed this story, I've come to understand it (still haven't accepted it fully though).
Your words really seized my heart and I really love that. The plot is great and I absolutely LOVE your OC. I really don't know why this story hasn't got thousands of reviews!
I'm lucky to have been able to read this story and add it to my favourites. Thank you so much for sharing this incredible story.. And I must congratulate you on a job well done!
P.S I can't wait to read the sequel! ;)

So far I am loving this story. There is only one thing I have an issue with. If you are following the movie time lines then the boy could not be Aragorn. In two Towers he is 87 years old and the hobbit took place 60 years earlier. By that count he would be 27, not a young boy, and in the ranks of the rangers. Over all though a great story.

Hm... your style of writing is good, but I don't like that you let Thorin die. I like fanfictions for twisting the official canon a bit and maybe get some happy ends, for there are too few in the real world. I read your whole story (Don't like abandoning fanfictions when I'm not finished reading them), but I must say, I don't like how the plot turned out. So, I am afraid to say I am no longer interested in a sequel and won't be reading it. It would be awesome if you would have made a alternate universe in which Thorin lives and one could read how that would affect the whole world and lore in your opinion. But, well, that's a lot of work and one has to like that. Your story, your taste. Others will like it, but I don't. No offense.

Still, keep up the good work - even if some don't like what they read.
