WOW THAT WAS AMAZING! I always find Toothless POVs interesting, but a lot of the time, they don't work. THIS ONE, however, is probably the best interpretation I've read! There's the perfect amount of intelligence and misunderstanding of the humans words and mannerisms, but it's clear that he learns throughout the story. I love that!
Great job encapsulating all his inner thoughts. I love the focus on how Toothless only feels whole when he's with his rider. And yeah, it got cheesy at points, but who doesn't love some good cheesiness in their life?
All in all, 10/10 fic! Wonderful pacing and characters. I'm really glad you looked in depth at the parallelism of the best buds. That's one of my favorite things about this movie :)

I loved this story so much! It's so different from any other HTTYD fanfic. The way you wrote from Toothless' POV was refreshing; it was told from a dragon's perspective as accurately as possible and not just the way you wanted it to be portrayed. And even though it recapped the whole movie, it was very original. Very well written!

So, first of all i want to let you know i have been awake for about roughly 18 hours straight and had like less than 6 hours of sleep, so please bear with me for grammar Mistakes on my part, not to mention that they are special effects of my Keyboard ;-) (Oh and writing this at 1:30 am isnt a good idea by the way...)

Anyway! So for the last about 5 hours i have spent reading your Story in one go, and i have to say, it is and was very Good. Genuine good! The Character development of Toothless was nearly flawless in my Opinion. The way of self-reflection is always a great methode of proving a change in Personality. Something i find dearly missing in other Stories. :(
Grammar wise, you got somewhat worse in the later chapters, in terms of Grammar Fails that is. But who am i to judge though? :D

It really was a Great Story, a nice read and i also have read your take on the "The Gift of the Night Fury". Funnily enough i read the latter first and this one here after the latter. lmao.

Found this fic yesterday, and binge-read it all day yesterday, finishing it today. Great fic! I love Hiccup, so seeing the POV of someone else who loves him is cute. I did not consider your theory for how Hiccup lost his leg. I always thought fire had burned it badly or the Queen had just enough life left to bring her jaw up and try to grab them in a final attack (...one that wasn't shown in the movie? Haha.). I guess my theories don't make sense. Yours does, though, so it's nice to get that closure.

Awesome, just awesome. I loved this story. This just happens to be one of my favourite movies, reading everything from Toothless's perspective, and written so well, has been very interesting. Wonderful.
