finally a story that explains why reid had the right to be mad. great job!

I haven't seen this episode since I've only seen until the beginning of season 3 but did they really do that to Reid.

I so agree with you. I don't like JJ and Emily to this day because of it. well, I won't watch the show without Hotch anyway. Aaron at least fell on his sword for JJ and Emily and was willing to accept and take reid's anger.

I love this fic so much I wish it was in the show. What Rossi said were my exact thoughts well watching that episode. I love Emily and JJ but the way they handled Reid's anger and pain made me so mad.

The moment between Emily and Spencer was so heartwarming. I love how open and honest Emily was and poor Spencer he was so worn out. You totally did this episode justice. It's a beautiful rewrite of Proof, and I'm adding Hurt to my favorite stories list. Thanks for sharing. You're one hell of author.

I like this story for its raw honesty. And it does tread out the whole range of anger and disappointment Reid must feel.
This story is probably the only one in which the repercussions are not smoothed over or sugarcoated.

Especially I like this chapter for the way it ended. Kudos for that, it was too sweet. I hope you can think of at least one chapter with JJ starting or trying to apologize the right way.

I wished I had seen this story a long time ago.

So my request, if you can find the time and inspiration, would you do one more chapter with JJ and Reid?
I'd be most grateful.

I love this story. That always bugged me, how jj and Emily treated Reid in that episode, like he had no right to be angry. Great story.

I really like this story because you are so correct, and I wish we had seen more of it on the show! I was mostly pissed with JJ and so happy when Spencer snapped at her! I think Emily was just misguided when she told Spencer those things, she was absolutely wrong, because I'm sorry but missing your friends but knowing they are alive and well is nowhere near the same pain as mourning someone who think died, and in such horrible circumstances too. But JJ? What she said was just plain hurtful and she's supposed to know Spencer the most, so that comment bothered me even more...
Anyway, thank you for this fic and for putting my feelings into words!

The end of this had me tearing up. Pretty sure a tear or two fell. I am so happy that Rossi stood up for Reid. It might be a bit late, but he did it and validated Reid's feelings and had him feeling better just knowing he has a friend on his side. And the ending... Emily's apology felt real, not like something she was saying just to get him to stop feeling how he is. I like seeing that Rossi got through to her a bit, and seeing that she wasn't truly trying to make his pain out to be less than her's.
