Yes, truly, I also prefer the first season. I never understood the reason for such a radical change, perhaps the authors only wanted a little distracted ... I think we have lost the basic plot of the story, the common thread.

I love how you reference "Where Eagles Dare" at the begining, one of my childhood mainstays that episode, great memories. This story is a perfect fix to the continuity issues from the cartoon regarding Ace's odd combination of mask and veichle, and everyone was clear and true to form character wise. Bravo.
