and i definitely doubt that Lacey would ask her finance's ex, one that broke his heart, to design her wedding dress, even if she's a top level designer.

I love this movie just the way it is. The end is corny and romantic and predictable but I don't care. This piece is however a much more realistic ending to the movie. I liked that you still kept the "fight" between Melanie and would-be mother-in-law. It shows how even though they live similar lives in New York, Mel still has her roots. Well done!

I loved this movie so it's hard for me to imagine any different ending. However, you did a great job of changing the ending to this! I like what you did here!

It hurts how realistic and depressing this is. This being my all-time favorite movie, however, I love the twist. My heart stopped a few times while reading this because the movie ending, while extremely unrealistic, is amazingly perfect. However, this is most likely what would have really happened in real life.

That's an awful ending
